Our physicians can perform the majority of these injections right in the office. The in-office fluoroscopy and ultrasound help the physicians at Gulf Coast Pain Management deliver state of the art pain management in addition to helping patients avoid the need to have procedures performed in a very costly surgery center. Many patients are required to pay an ambulatory care center copay of up to $250.00. If your procedure is performed in the office, it is considered an in-office procedure, costing you an in-office copay, usually around $25-$30.

These savings also apply to Medicare copays. If you do not carry a secondary policy and Medicare is your primary insurance, you are responsible for 20% of the Medicare allowable, which can be very costly if the procedure is performed in a surgery center.
